Marie C. Sheehan, 70, of Greenbrae, Calif., and formerly of Le Mars, died Friday Oct. 27, 2006 in Greenbrae. Her death was due to a massive stroke.
Marie Catherine Sheehan was born March 14, 1936 in Le Mars, the daughter of George and Mary (Connor) Sheehan. She graduated from Gehlen Catholic High School. She then attended Briar Cliff College in Sioux City and received her degree in pharmacy from the University of Iowa. She was a lifelong registered pharmacist in Marin County, Calif.
Survivors include her sister, Joan Cahoy and her husband Harold of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; a sister-in-law Norma (Sheehan) Tentinger of Remsen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Leslie and Robert Sheehan.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars, with the Rev. Kevin Richter presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.
Visitation at the Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars will be after 3 p.m. Thursday, where there will be a rosary at 4 p.m. and the Scriptural wake service at 7 p.m.
