Ann is the daughter of Mark and Kathy Collins of Turtle Lake, Wis., and Jared is the son of Calvin and Dixie Kooiker of Le Mars.
Nuptial music was provided by organist Charlene Samlaska, and soloists Barbara DeGrote-Sorensen, aunt of the bride and Reed Sorensen, cousin of the bride.
Calvin Kooiker, father of the bridegroom, read the scripture.
Maid of honor was Jessica Frein of Byron, Minn. Bridesmaids were Monica Lee of San Diego, Calif., Amy Kooiker of Sioux Falls, S.D., sister-in-law of the bridegroom and Sue Collins of Minneapolis, Minn., sister-in-law of the bride.
Best man was Jason Kooiker of Sioux Falls, S.D., brother of the bridegroom.
Groomsmen were Ryan Richmond of Waterloo, cousin of bridegroom, Sid Bulthuis of Rock Valley and Erik Collins of Minneapolis, Minn., brother of the bride.
Seating the wedding guests were Jon Schmidt of Sioux Center and Jon Hall of Dallas, Texas.
The reception dinner and dance were held at Turtleback Dining, Golf and Conference Center in Rice Lake, Wis. An antique cake plate more than 100 years old held the top layer of Ann's and Jared's wedding cake.
Jared and Ann were also honored at a Celebration of Their Marriage on Sept. 3 at Tom Ham's Lighthouse, Harbor Island, San Diego Bay.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by Calvin and Dixie Kooiker at the Tower House in Cumberland, Wis.
Ann graduated from Turtle Lake High School. She received a bachelor degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota at Duluth and is currently employed as accounting manager for Empire Electrical Supply, San Diego.
Jared graduated from Le Mars Community High School. He attended Oklahoma City University, earning a bachelor degree in biology. Presently Jared is a horticulturist at the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park in Escondido, Calif.
The couple took their wedding trip to the Hawaiian Islands of Kauai and Oahu. They are at home in La Mesa, Calif.
