Johanna Sue Stowe and Chad Joseph Galles, both of Yuma, Colo., were married July 2, 2006, at Walnut Creek Chapel in Oklahoma City, Okla. Pastor Dr. Gene Nease officiated the evening ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Andrew and Janet Stowe of Edmond, Okla. The bridegroom is the son of Joe and Lynn Galles of Remsen.

Matron of honor was Jessica Tanghe of Silvis, Ill. Maid of honor was Candi Cline, cousin of the bride, of Cedar Rapids. Bridesmaids were Lisa Allison of Tulsa, Okla., Jackie Grage, sister of the bridegroom, Remsen, Katie Galles, sister of the bridegroom, Remsen and Joy-Lee Stowe, sister of the bride, Edmond, Okla. Junior bridesmaid was Ann-Marie Stowe, sister of the bride, Edmond, Okla. Flower girl was Jenna Beesley of Hugoton, Kan. The bride was attended to by Jacque Teeter of Hugoton, Kan.

Best men were Jason Galles of Remsen and Shane Galles of Yuma, Colo. both brothers of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Galen Lowman of Sherbern, Minn., Dave Brantl of Burlington, Colo., Michael Vaske, cousin of bridegroom of Yuma, Colo., Michael Stowe, brother of bride, of Sioux City. Ring bearer was Gunnar Grage, nephew of bridegroom, Remsen.

Ushers were all college roommates of the bridegroom: Jeff Spieler, Tea, S.D., Nate Nelson, Hinton, Chad Hennen, Brandon, S.D., Ryan Eastman, Stewartville, Minn., and Andy Hennen, Ghent, Minn.

Several scripture verses were read during the ceremony by Jason Teeter of Hugoton, Kan. The ceremony was preluded by piano music by Nancy Honig of Hugoton, Kan. During the lighting of the unity candle Renee Beesley of Hugoton sang "Household of Faith".

The dinner/dance reception was also held at Walnut Creek Chapel.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of North High School, Davenport. She is 2001 graduate of Northeastern State University earning a BA in early childhood education and a 2005 graduate of Kansas State University with a MS in curriculum and instruction with an ESL emphasis. She currently is the director of Little Indians Preschool for the Yuma School District in Yuma, Co.

The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of St. Mary's Catholic School, Remsen and a 1998 graduate of South Dakota State University with a BS in general agriculture. He is a farm marketer with Cargill AgHorizons in Yuma, Colo.

The couple will take a nine-day Caribbean cruise over the Christmas holiday and are now at home in Yuma, Colo.
