Bethany Joy Hakim and Jacob Gary Tillman exchanged marriage vows July 1, 2006, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Farmington, Mich.

The bride is the daughter of Vic and Linda Hakim of Clarkston, Mich. The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Elaine Tillman of Le Mars.

Members of the the wedding party were Miricle Foster, Lisa Lewis, Michille Tillman, Joe Langel, Scott Tillman and David Tillman.

Ushers were Derrick Loutsch and Eric Foster.

The reception was held at the Crystal Ballroom of the Masonic Temple of Detroit.

The couple is at home in Farmington Hills, Mich., following a Caribbean cruise.
