Rebecca Wilkens and Matthew Taylor of Peoria, Ill., were united in marriage May 20, 2006, in a 2 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars. The Rev. Kevin Richter officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ray and Kim Wilkens of Le Mars. The bridegroom is the son of Dennis and Cindy Taylor of Muscatine.

String music was provided by Vista Chamber Players. Soloist was Tim Watson and organist was Carla Jenness.

Lector was Adam Drewry of Des Moines.

Kim Wilkens, mother of the bride, and Jill Janes of Ames were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Jaime Homan, cousin of the bride, of Remsen, Cara Blum of Des Moines, Abby Erdman of Ames and Sara Taylor, sister of the bridegroom, of Chicago, Ill.

Junior bridesmaid was Danielle Schroeder, cousin of the bride, of Remsen, Flowergirl was Shelby Schroeder, cousin of the bride, of Remsen.

Jackie Jensen served as the bride's personal attendant.

Best men were Keegan Armstrong of Des Moines and Jason Archer of Asheville, N.C. Groomsmen were Scott Blum of Des Moines, Adam Stephen of Naperville, and Kevin Macferrin of Des Moines.

Ringbearer was Noah Schroeder, cousin of the bride, of Remsen.

Seating the wedding guests were Rob Platte of Ames, Sandeep Rao of San Diego, Calif., Nolan Ramey of Ames and Mark Weishepl of Charlotte, N.C.

Both Rebecca and Matthew are graduates of Iowa State University and are employed at CAT Logistics Services, Inc., in Peoria.

Following their wedding trip to Riveria Maya, Mexico, the couple is at home a 101 Karen Drive, Peoria, Ill. 61611.
