Bernard J. Ahlers, 88, of Granville, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at Orange City Health System in Orange City.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Granville. Friends may call any time after 4 p.m. Tuesday. There will be a rosary at 5 p.m. by St. Joseph Guild and a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m., all at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville. The Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen is in charge of arrangements.
