Audrey Stewart and Stephen Ahlers were united in marriage June 3, 2006, at the United Methodist Church in Dayton, with Pastor David Morris officiating.

Audrey is the daughter of Lloyd and Loree Stewart of Fort Dodge and Stephen is the son of Paul and Mary Ahlers of Remsen.

Maid of honor was Marlee Stewart, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Ahlers, sister-in-law of the bride, Jessica Ahlers sister-in-law of the bride, and Katelyn Stewart, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Mathew Ahlers, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Virgil Stewart, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Daniel Stewart, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Wes Hunold.

Soloists were Stephanie Williams, Jessica Ahlers with her flute, and Ileigh Stewart as pianist.

Seating the guest were Sean Stewart, cousin of the bride, and Mark Staab, cousin of the bridegroom.

The newlyweds, their parents, and the wedding party were escorted away in a classic car line to the reception, dinner, and dance at the Dayton Opera House.

Audrey is a 2001 graduate of Southeast Webster High School and a 2005 graduate of Iowa State University, with a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies. She is currently employed with Micro Marketing as a campaign writer.

Stephen is a 2001 graduate of Remsen St. Mary's High School and a 2006 graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor of science degree in construction engineering. He is currently employed with the Weitz Company on their national division as a project engineer.

Following the wedding, the couple took a trip to the Grand Canyon. They currently reside in Groton, Conn.
