The engagement and approaching marriage of Jennifer Ortmann and Michael Brewer of Sioux Falls, S.D., is made known by their parents, Thomas and Lori Ortmann of Le Mars and Richard and Jan Brewer of Clear Lake, S.D.

The couple will be married in a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 30, 2006, at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars. The 4 p.m. reception will at the Le Mars Convention Center lower level.

Jennifer is attending Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls, for health unit coordinator, and will graduate in May 2007.

Michael graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in elementary education in December 2004. He is employed at Austad's Golf.
