Jim and Phylliss Van Tilburg of Hull, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy, to Adam Yoerger, son of Stan and Joan Yoerger, Merrill.

The couple plan an Oct. 20, 2006, wedding at the First Reformed Church, Hull.

Amy is a 2002 graduate of Boyden-Hull High School and a 2005 graduate of Avera-McKennan School of Radiological Technology and is employed at Spencer Municipal Hospital, Spencer. Adam is a 2000 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 2003 graduate of Western Iowa Tech. He is currently raising livestock on the family farm.
