The engagement and approaching marriage of Loni Kay Penne and Jeremy David Fintel, both of Le Mars, is announced by their parents, Kim and Malea Penne of Le Mars and David and Darla Fintel of Paullina.

The couple is planning a Sept. 8, 2006, wedding at ST. James Catholic Church in Le Mars, with a reception and dance following at the Le Mars Convention Center, upper level.

Loni is a 2001 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a graduate of Western Iowa Tech Community College. She is employed at Primebank.

Jeremy is a 1998 graduate of South O'Brien High School and a graduate of Northwest Iowa Community College. He is employed at Motor Inn.
