The engagement and approaching marriage of Jillian Marie Alons and Timothy Michael Britt of Le Mars is announced by their parents,, Tom and Sandy Cooper and Dennis and Joyce Britt, all of Le Mars.

A Sept. 23, 2006, wedding is planned at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. The reception will follow at the Le Mars Convention Center lower level.

Jillian is a graduate of Morningside College with a degree in business administration. She is employed with the Pride Group in Le Mars.

Timothy graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College with an ag-business degree. He is employed at West Le Mars Farmers Coop.
