Harold I. Johnson, 86, of Remsen, died Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Happy Siesta Health Care Center in Remsen.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today (Monday) at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen with the Rev. Willliam McCarthy officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Remsen, with graveside military honors conducted by Post 220 American Legion and Post 3328 V.F.W.

Visitation was after 2 p.m. Sunday, with a parish rosary at 3 p.m. and a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m., all at the Fisch Funeral Home in Remsen.
