Nancy Pick and Jason Murphy were united in marriage May 26, 2006, at Sacred Heart Church in Crete, Neb., with the Rev. Paul York officiating.
Parents of the couple are Paul and Marlene Pick of Remsen and William and Carol Murphy of Crete, Neb.
Lora Curtis of Lincoln, Neb., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Andrea Paxton of Papillion, Neb., and Tania Aguilar of Lincoln.
Seating the guests were Terry Van Horn of Crete, Josh Shupe of Warrensburg, Mo., Tony Curtis of Lincoln and George Paxton of Papillion, Neb.
Flower girls were nieces of the bride and bridegroom: Emma and Rose Curtis of Lincoln, Olivia Murphy of Exeter, Neb., and Claire Van Horn of Crete.
Clayton Van Horn, Crete, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Perry Campus Center at Doane College.
The bride graduated in 1996 from St. Mary's High School in Remsen and in 2000 from the University of Iowa. She is currently employed as the membership director for the Nebraska Medical Association.
The bridegroom graduated from Crete High School in 1991 and is currently the production manager for the Crete News.
Following their wedding trip to the Arbor Day Lodge in Nebraska City, Neb., the couple is at home in Crete.
