Paul and Val Grant of Le Mars announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brea Grant to Tony Turner, son of Denise Seidel of Topeka, Kan., and Terry Turner of Hutchinson, Kan.

The couple is planning an oceanside ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 5, 2006 in Monterey, Calif. The reception will follow on Aug. 12, at 6 p.m. in Shawnee, Kan., at the Shawnee Town Hall.

Brea is a 1999 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in sociology from Kansas State University in 2003. She is employed with Vatterott College in Kansas City as an admissions coordinator of agency relations.

Tony graduated from Washburn Rural High School of Topeka, Kan., in 1999 and earned a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from Kansas State University in 2004. He is employed as a personal trainer and owns Fitness Together of Shawnee, Kan.
