Brittany DeYoung and Beau Langel of Le Mars announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Brittany is the daughter of Kathy DeYoung of Craig and the late Robert DeYoung. Beau is the son of Paul and Karen Langel of Le Mars.

The couple is planning a 2 p.m. ceremony on July 15, 2006, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars. The reception will follow at the Le Mars Convention Cener upper level.

Brittany is a graduate of Le Mars Community High School and will be a senior at Briar Cliff University. She is employed at Medical Associates in Le Mars.

Beau is a graduate of Gehlen Catholic High School and farms with his father and brother.
