William "Bill" E. Kjose, 77, of Sacramento, Calif., and formerly of Akron, died peacefully and free of pain Thursday, May 25, 2006, at a Sacramento nursing home following a battle with cancer.

The body was cremated. Graveside services will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Arrangements are under the direction of Carlsen Funeral Home-Schroeder Chapel, in Akron.
