Ashley Hutton and Jesse Christensen of Remsen announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Ashley is the daughter of Karen Hutton of Le Mars and the late Doug Hutton. Jesse is the son of Mary and Rick Christensen of Remsen.

The couple is planning a June 3, 2006, wedding at 4 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Craig. The reception will be at the Brunsville Legion Hall, with an open dance following from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Ashley is a practical nursing student at Northwest Iowa Community College. She is employed as CNA at Good Samaritan Center and is shift manger/delivery driver at Pizza Hut in Le Mars.

Jesse is employed as an auto parts speciaist at O'Reilly's and is a shift manager/delivery driver at Pizza Hut in Le Mars.
