Andrew and Janet Stowe of Edmond, Okla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Johanna Stowe of Hugoton, Kan., to Chad Galles of Yuma, Colo. Chad is the son of Joe and Lynn Galles of Remsen.

A July 2, 2006, wedding is planned at the Walnut Creek Chapel in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Johanna is a 1995 graduate of Davenport North High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education in 2001 at Northeastern State University and an MA degree at Kansas State University in curriculum and instruction.

Chad is a 1994 graduate of Remsen St. Mary's High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in general agriculture from South Dakota State University in 1998.
