The engagement and approaching marriage of Andrea Kay Berkenpas and Paul Hansen both of Paullina, is announced by their parents Darwin and Alaska Berkenpas of Le Mars and Henry and Ilse Hansen of Paullina, Iowa.

The couple is planning a June 2, 2006, wedding at St. John's American Lutheran Church in Le Mars. The reception and dance will follow at the Le Mars Eagle's Club upper level.

Andrea is a graduate of Le Mars Community High School and is a homemaker.

Paul is a graduate of Paullina High School and is currently employed at Wells' Dairy Inc. in Le Mars.
