Ambrose "Amos" Block, 84, of Hospers, died Friday, April 21, 2006, at Orange City Municipal Hospital in Orange City.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today (Monday) at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hospers with the Rev. John Vakluskas officating. Burial was in St. Anthony Cemetery in Hospers.

Visitation was after 3 p.m. Sunday, with a rosary at 4 p.m. by the Knights of Columbus and a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m., all at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hospers.

The Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen was in charge of arrangements.
