Robert and Audrey Kurth of Le Mars announce the engagement of their daughter, Theresa Jean Kurth to John Laurence Connelly, son of The Honorable John J. and Mary Connelly of Saint Paul, Minn.

The couple is planning a July 1, 2006, wedding at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis, Minn. A reception will follow at Midland Hills Country Club in Saint Paul.

Theresa is a graduate of Gehlen Catholic High School and received her degree in advertising and marketing from Iowa State University. She is employed as a director of marketing for Pictura Graphics in Minneapolis.

John is a native of Saint Paul, Minn., where he graduated from Cretin High School and received his degree in political science from the University of St. Thomas. He is self-employed in Saint Paul.
