Mike and Donna Shea of Le Mars announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin to Major Sean Donahue, son of Daniel Donahue and Elizabeth Donahue of Arlington, Va.

The couple is planning a June 24 wedding at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars with the reception and dance to follow at the Marina Inn in South Sioux City, Neb.

Kristin is a 1997 graduate of Gehlen Catholic High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Iowa. She currently lives in Huntsville, Ala., and is employed as a nurse educator with Bbraun Medical.

Sean is a 1987 graduate of Washington and Lee High School in Arlington, Va., a 1993 graduate of George Mason University, and is serving in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot stationed at Red Stone Arsenal in Huntsville, Ala.
