Sheila Norris, formerly of Phelan, Calif., and Jay Faber of Le Mars were united in marriage Aug. 14, 2005, aboard the Royal Princess Yacht in Newport Beach, Calif., harbor. Pastor Dane Davis of First Christian Church of Victorville, Calif., officiated the 2 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Chelsee Miller, daughter of the bride, and Ed Austin, were soloists.

Parents of the couple are Clara Eisma and the late Allen Eisma of Ireton, and Dr. Wayne and Ruth Marie Faber of Le Mars.

Chassa Norris, daughter of the bride, formerly of Phelan, Calif., was maid of honor, with Chelsee Miller, of Hesperia, Calif., daughter of the bride, serving as bridesmaid.

Steven Faber of Le Mars, was best man for his father. Dane Miller of Hesperia, Calif., son-in-law of the bride, was groomsman.

Flowergirl was Cayleigh Norris, daughter of the bride.

The reception and dinner immediately followed the ceremony on the yacht as it cruised through the harbor.

The couple stayed at Portofino Hotel on the beach in Newport Beach, Calif., for their wedding trip.

The bride is a graduate of Unity Christian High School in Orange City and St. Joseph Mercy School of Nursing in Sioux City. She was employed as a registered nurse at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, Calif., prior to her move to Le Mars a year ago. She is now employed as a registered nurse at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Le Mars Community High School and Iowa State University in Ames. He owns Faber Financial Services and is a certified financial planner and certified retirement financial advisor.

The couple is at home at 1517 Central Ave. S.W. in Le Mars.
