Herman B. Renken, 96, of Akron, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Sunset Manor in Irene, S.D.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today (Monday) at Trinity Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. in Akron with the Rev. Jean Morse officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Akron.

Visitation was after 3 p.m. Sunday, with the family present after 6 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Carlsen Funeral Home-Schroeder Chapel in Akron.
