The engagement and approaching marriage of Rebecca Ann Wilkens and Matthew Ryan Taylor, both of East Peoria, Ill., is announced by their parents, Ray and Kim Wilkens of Le Mars and Dennis and Cindy Taylor of Muscatine.

The couple is planning a May 20, 2006, wedding at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Le Mars.

Rebecca is a 2000 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 2004 graduate of Iowa State University. She is currently an inventory analyst with Caterpillar Logistics Technology Services in Morton, Ill.

Matthew is a 2000 Graduate of Muscatine High School and a 2005 graduate of Iowa State University and is currently an account representative for Caterpillar Logistics Technology Services in Morton, Ill.
