Harlan J.H. Ruble, 76, of Cherokee, and formerly of Le Mars, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at his home in Cherokee following a one-year illness.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cherokee, with the Rev. Jim Steen and the Rev. Woody Clauson officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m.
