Jennifer Marie Benedix and Bradley David Friedel were united in marriage Sept. 3, 2005 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Rev. Thomas Topf officiated.
Parents of the couple are Marie and the late Robert Benedix of Correctionville, and Ken and Jane Friedel of Mediapolis. Grandmother of the bridegroom is Zeta Bradley of Lake City.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her mother and carried a bouquet of burgandy calla lillies and white roses which also included a necklace that belonged to her Grandma Benedix and a tie that belonged to her dad.
Kami Bogenrief was maid of honor, with Alicia Crabb, Emilie Friedel and Kelli White, bridesmaids.
The bride's personal attendant was Mindy Skibinski.
Best man was Aaron Friedel with Steve Bush, Eric Williams, and Jason Benedix serving as groomsmen.
Jeff Benedix, Jim Benedix, Phillip Herbold, and Mark Lamos served as ushers.
Lucien Benedix, nephew of the bride was the ring bearer and Mya Skibinski, friend of the couople was the flower girl. Honorary ring bearers were Tyler and Nathan Benedix, nephews of the bride. Sharon Borchers, cousin of the bride, was the organist. Soloists included Julie Hlas who sang "Ave Maria" and "How Beautiful," and Tom Hinote,uncle of the bridegroom, who sang "The Wedding Song."
A reception and dance was held at the Quality Inn, Sioux City.
Jenny works at Wells Fargo Financial in Des Moines. Brad is employed with Nebraska Furniture Mart in Des Moines.
The couple is at home in Waukee.
