Gary and Krista Harpenau of Remsen, announce the engagement of their daughter, Joni Harpenau, to Joshua Breuer. Joshua is the son of Galen and Jeanne Breuer of Hull.

Joni is a senior at Iowa State University and will graduate May 2006 with a degree in Biology. She is entering the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Ill., in the fall of 2006.

Joshua is an Iowa State University agricultural engineering graduate and is employed as a design engineer at Husco International in Waukesha, Wis.

The couple is planning a June 17, 2006 wedding at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen. A reception for the couple will be held in Remsen at the Avalon Ballroom following the ceremony.
