Cokens - Barnable

Kayla Cokens and Jason Barnable of Sioux Falls, S.D., were united in marriage Oct. 15, 2005, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. The Rev. Len Halvorson officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Lori and Johnny Woehl and George Cokens, all of Menno, S.D., and Mike and Judy Barnable of Le Mars.

Ruth Erickson was organist and Kristi Diede was soloist.

Kristi Cokens of Beresford, S.D., sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mallory Buche of Sioux Falls, Debra Herrboldt of Tripp, S.D., and Kathie Romsdan of Moorehead, Minn.

Flowergirls were Elyssa Petrik and Taylor Wit.

Jeff Barnable of Brookings, S.D., was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Joe Cokens of Renton, Wash., Josh Cokens of Rapid City, S.D., and Anthony Cokens, of Menno, S.D.

Ringbearers were Avery Gilchrist and Aaron Gilchrist.

Seating the wedding guests were Ryan Woehl, Brandon Woehl, A.J. Valadez and Sergio Valadez Jr.

The reception followed at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel for 200 guests.

Kayla is a graduate of Menno High School and Stewart School of Hairstyling in Sioux Falls. She is employed in the pediatrics department at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Jason is a graduate of Woodbury Central High School in Moville, and of South Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in liberal studies. He is employed with Premier Bank Card.

Following their wedding trip to Duluth, Minn., the couple is at home in Sioux Falls.
