Kayla Marie Kirchner and Jason Brent Jiskoot were united in marriage at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars on May 28, 2005. The Rev. James Tigges and the Rev. Don Jiskoot, uncle of the bridegroom, officiated the 7 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Ken and Theresa Kirchner of Le Mars and Allen and Dolly Jiskoot of Newkirk. Grandparents of the bride are Viola Kirchner of St. Peter, Minn., and Elnora Evan of Mankato, Minn.

Angela Jiskoot of Newkirk, sister of the bridegroom, was the violinist. Brandi Roeker of Pemberton, Minn., cousin of the bride, was the soloist.

Matron of honor was Nicole Kirchner, sister of the bride of Le Mars. Bridesmaids were Kari Hernme of Iowa City, and Kari Wiltgen of Le Mars.

Best man was Michael Jiskoot of Newkirk, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Joe VanSchepen of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Nick Olson of Minneapolis, Minn.

Flowergirls were Allison Ruden of Le Mars and Kiana Jordan, cousin of bridegroom, of Lincolnwood, Ill. Ringbear was Eric Kosak, cousin of the bride from Granite Falls, Minn.

Seating the wedding guests were Amy Jiskoot of Newkirk, sister of the bridegroom, Nick Beyer of Wells, Minn., cousin of the bride and Abbie Kirchner of Mankato, Minn., cousin of the bride.

A reception dinner and dance followed at the Le Mars Convention Center.
