Darren Lee Glanzer, son of Chris and Kathryn (Paulus) Glanzer, was bom and died on Oct. 18, 2005 at Newton Medical Center in Newton, Kan.

He suffered from a severe skeletal disorder called Thanatophoric Dysplasia. Members of his family are his parents, Chris and Kathryn Glanzer, Hillsboro, Kan.; his sister and brother, Anna and Paul; his grandparents, Steve and Susan Hopkins, Parker, S.D; his grandmother, Nancy Hassler, Corona, Calif.; his grandfather, James Paulus, Sr., Lander, Wyo.; and his great-grandparents, Emanuel and Mary Glanzer, Bridgewater, S.D., and Jim and Julie Hopkins, Le Mars.

Services were held Oct. 21 at the Ebenfeld MB Church rural Hillsboro, Kan, with burial in Salem MB Church Cemetery, rural Bridgewater, S.D. Arrangements were handled by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker, S.D.
