Errin Faye Carlson and Jason Scott Bird were united in marriage at an outdoor ceremony on July 2, 2005, at the Wild Rose Inn in Okoboji, with Pastor Paul Evans officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Karen Carlson of Kingsley. The bridegroom is the son of Ronald and Sandra Bird of Kenneth, Minn. Grandparents are Edna Carlson of Kingsley and Doris Jean Deckert of Wing, N.D.

Matron of honor was Wendy Plendl, sister of the bride.

Best man was Travis Bird, brother of the bridegroom.

Andrea Willroth, daughter of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid.

The bride was escorted by her father. Flutist was Dawn Kuchel, friend of bride. Vocalist was Dana Tabbert, friend of bridegroom.

A reception was held following the ceremony.

Errin is employed at the Daily Sentinel in Le Mars. Jason is the president of Heavy Hauler outdoor gear in Kingsley.

The couple is at home in Kingsley.
