Jean Hartmann of Le Mars and Wayne Winterfeld of Ord, Neb., were united in marriage on Aug. 13, 2005. The ceremony was held in the backyard of the Winterfeld residence in Ord, with family and friends attending.

Lori Johnson of Sioux Falls, S.D., daughter of the bride, was bridesmaid.

Michael Winterfeld of Brighton, Col., served as best man for his father.

The Rev. Eugene Winterfeld of Rohnert Park, Calif., brother of the bridegroom and the Rev. Robert Caldwell of Bethany Lutheran Church, Ord., officiating at the ceremony.

A reception followed at the Winterfeld residence.

The couple is residing in Ord, Neb., where Mr. Winterfeld serves as mayor.
