Dehmlow - Knaack

Christ Chapel at Northwestern College in Orange City was the setting for the marriage of Kara Linn Dehmlow and Lance Ryan Knaack. Pastor Paul Samuelson officiated the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

Kara is the daughter of Kevin and Connie Dehmlow of Sergeant Bluff. Lance is the son of Robert and Denise Knaack of Pierson and the late Delcie Knaack.

Annalise Johnston was pianist and accompanied vocalists Rachael Thompson, Stacy Kokes and Joel Scholten.

Mandy Gordon was maid of honor, with Wendy White, Dawn Fischer and Sarah Knaack serving as bridesmaids. Angie Cline was the bride's personal attendant.

Vernon Knaack was best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Knaac, Brent Hansen and Josh Henrich.

Seating the wedding guests were Michael Jauron and Kyle Knaack.

The reception was held at Vermeer Dining Center.

Kara is a 2001 graduate of Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School. She is a 2005 graduate of Northwestern College with a B.A. degree in communication studies and a minor in psychology. Kara is currently employed by Iowa State University Extension in the Education Materials & Marketing Services as a communications associate. She will attend Iowa State University in the fall of 2006 pursuing a masters degree in educational policy & studies.

Lance is a 2001 graduate of Kingsley-Pierson High School. He is a 2005 graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. degree in agriculture education and a minor in agriculture systems technology. Lance is currently employed by the Des Moines Register as an Agricultural Accounts Representative.

The couple currently resides in Madrid. They are planning a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., in November.
