Alisha Roepke and Matthew Knapp were united in marriage at First Lutheran Church, Kingsley, July 2, 2005. The Rev. Duane Miesner officiated the 4:30 p.m. double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gregg and Rhonda Roepke of Kingsley. Her grandparents are Kenneth and Minnetta Schweitzberger, and Eldon and Rowena Roepke, all of Kingsley.

The bridegroom is the son of Karen and Jerry Barwick of Akron, and the late Bruce Knapp. His grandparents are Ceil Knapp of Sioux City and the late Cyrus Knapp, the late Priscilla Knapp, Betty Brunken of Le Mars, and the late Norman Brunken.

Maid of honor was Katie Roepke, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Angela Johnson, Tonya Boeckenhauer, Mirya Gruhn, and Lisa Fullenkamp.

Best men were Cole Knapp, brother of the bridegroom, and Troy Peters. Groomsmen were: Tom Everingham, Curt Swoyer, and Travis Oetken.

Seating the guests were Brad Roepke, brother of the bride, Matt Caskey, Jason Moffatt, and Mark Swoyer.

The flowergirl was Jordyn Knapp, and the ring bearers were Collin Knapp and Caeden Colbert.

Andrew Barwick was an acolyte. Musicians were vocalist Rachael Wragge, cousin of the bride; pianist Greta Page, aunt of the bride; and harpist Marcella Dowie.

Personal Attendants of the bride were Dana Page, cousin of the bride, and Angela Danielson.

A dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the Le Mars Convention Center.

The bride is employed as a dental hygienist with Dr. Wheelock and Dr. Bursick, DDS.

The groom is the owner/operator of Oakdale Stock Farm, and is a warehouseman at Interbake Foods.

The couple will enjoy a wedding trip in November, traveling to Maui, Hawaii. They are residing in Westfield.
