Kara Grant of Le Mars and Lewis Grage of Remsen were united in marriage on May 14, 2005, at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars. The Rev. Dean Goebel officiated the 4 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Paul and Val Grant of Le Mars and Gary and Rosie Grage of Kingsley.

Stacey Hansen of Ames was soloist.

Brea Grant of Kansas City, Kan., was maid of honor and Amy Davis of Le Mars was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Grage of Des Moines, Amy Huls and Audrea Huls of Le Mars, and Karla Bohlken of Elk River, Minn.

Flowergirl was Kennedy Ruhland of Le Mars.

Best man was Nick Sitzmann of Athens, Ga. Groomsmen were Pat Arens of Ida Grove, Jeremy Mayrose of Le Mars, Eric Mayrose of Sioux Falls, S.D., Jesse Anthony of Le Mars, and Chris Pick of Le Mars.

Seating the wedding guests were Paul Nolan, Korey Gahler of Janesville, Troy Morris of Des Moines and Tony Turner of Kansas City, Kan.

The reception followed at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Kara is a 1997 graduate of le Mars Community High School and 2001 graduate of Wayne State College. She is employed as a carpenter's assistant.

Lewis is a 1996 graduate of Remsen St. Mary's High School and a 1997 graduate of Iowa Lakes Community College. He is self-employed with Lew's Custom Building and is also a farmer.

Following their wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is at home in Remsen.
