Kathleen Michelle Decker originally from Huntley, Neb., and Riley Earl Tonkin of Lincoln, Neb., were united marriage on Saturday, July 30, 2005, at First Plymouth Congregational Church in Lincoln.

The bride is the daughter of Ted and Marlene Decker of Huntley, Neb., and the bridegroom is the son of Steve and Nancy (Claesson) Tonkin, of Lincoln, Neb.

Grandparents of the bride are John and the late Alice Decker of Huntley/Alma Neb., and the late Al and Ann Beltz of St. Helen, Mich. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Fred and Evelyn Claesson, longtime Akron residents, now of Le Mars, and Lucille and the late Rolland "Tonk" Tonkin of Lincoln, Neb.

Musicians for the ceremony were Seth and Colleen(Tonkin) Caikowski, cousin of the bridegroom with Nana Tonkin, accompanist, aunt of the bridegroom.

Matron of honor was Lisa Colbert, sister of the bride, of Omaha.

Best man was Ryan Tonkin of Blair, Neb., brother of the bridegroom.

Friends of the bride and bridegroom served as as the four bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Kathleen graduated from Midland Lutheran College in 1998, graduating summa cum laude. She was a member of Phi Omega Sorority. In 2000, she graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a masters degree in physician assistant studies. She has practiced in Lincoln for four years as a physicians assistant with Southeast Nebraska Hematology and Oncology Consultants.

Riley graduated from Dana College in Blair, Neb., in 2001, graduating cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He was also a two-time Academic All-American and a 4-year letter winner with the wrestling program at Dana. Riley completed his masters in business administration at the University of Nebraska-Omaha in December 2004. He is employed in Lincoln with Allied Insurance Company as a senior commercial underwriter.

Following their wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica the couple is at home in Lincoln.
