Tony and Jennifer Heisterkamp of Remsen announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Heisterkamp to Chuck Palmer of Fonda, son of Bonnie Palmer of Fonda and Ward Palmer of Raymore, Mo.

The couple is planning an Oct. 1, 2005, wedding at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Newell.
