Alice M. (Ronan) Schiefen, 89, of Hawarden, died Friday, Sept. 2, 2005, at Morningside Manor Care Center in Alcester, S.D.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today (Tuesday) at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hawarden with the Rev. LeRoy Seuntjens officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden. Visitation was from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at Poirter Funeral Home in Hawarden, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the church.
