Paula Benjamin and Adam Humpal were united in marriage at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hinsdale, Ill., on Oct. 2, 2004. The Rev. Michael Bradburn officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Ralph and Blanca Benjamin of Richardson, Texas, and Tim and Kim Humpal, of Waukee, formerly of Le Mars.

Maid of honor was Megan Heaney of Dallas, Texas. Bridesmaids were Roberta Zimmerman of Mineola, N.Y., Jaimee Frank of Sugar Grove, Ill., and Angela Humpal, sister of bridegroom, of Waukee.

The Best man was Justin Wilberding of Omaha, Neb. Groomsmen were Jim Umbreit of Atlanta, Ga., Joel Simpson of Darien, Ill., and Matt Strand of Grand Forks, N.D.

Seating the guests were Ralph, Randy, and Roger Benjamin, brothers of the bride.

The flower girls were Paige Benjamin, cousin of the bride, and Makayla Benjamin, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Patrick Benjamin, cousin of the bride.

A special music piece, "Come What May" was performed by Jeff, Laurel, Casey, and Cori Bennett of Plano, Texas.

A dinner reception and dance followed the ceremony at William Tell Banquets, in Countryside, Ill.

After a wedding trip to Spain, the couple resides in Woodridge, Ill.
