Lulu A. Kueck, 91, of Hawarden, and formerly of Sioux City, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden.
Lulu was born April 10, 1914, near Hubbard, Neb., the daughter of Otto F. and Anna (Roost) Keuckk. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
She loved many flowers, playing bingo and volunteering at the places she resided.
Survivors include a sister, Martha O'Dell of South Sioux City, Neb.; a brother, Fredrick Keuck of Craig, Neb.; eight nieces; eight nephews; a sister-in-law, Nina Keuck of Milford; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and Albert; and six sisters, Nellie, Anna, Minnie, Florence, Charlotte and Elsie.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today (Monday) at Nelson-Berger Northside Funeral Home in Sioux City, with the Rev. Todd Bunge of Trinity Lutheran Church of Hawarden officiating. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery at Emerson, Neb. Visitation with the family present was one hour prior to the services on Monday.
Pallbearers were Donald Schincke, Marvin Schincke, Richard Schincke, Jerry O'Dell, Robert Miller and Firman Nuttal.
