Tom and Donna Rohe of Le Mars and John and Denise Hartford of Humboldt, announce the engagement of their children, Kristi Rohe and Ryan Hartford, of St. Joseph, Mo.

The couple is planning a 2 p.m. wedding on Oct. 15, 2005, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars. The reception will follow at the Le Mars Convention Center, upper level.

Kristi is a graduate of Gehlen Catholic High School and Iowa State University. She is a seventh grade teacher at Bode Middle School in St. Joseph.

Ryan is a graduate of Humboldt High School and Iowa State University. He is employed as a quality assurance engineer at Alteec Industries in St. Joseph.
