Edward W. "Ed" Kiewel, 89, of Akron, died Thursday, July 14, 2005, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 10:303 a.m. Thursday at Carlsen Funeral Home-Schroeder Chapel in Akron, with the Rev. Dawn Quame of Immanuel Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. of Akron, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday), with the familly present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
