The bride-elect is a graduate of Le Mars Community High School and is currently attending Texas A&M University at Galveston, Texas, for maritime studies. She is currently employed by Home Depot in Galveston, Texas.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Bryan High School in Bryan, Texas and is currently attending Texas A&M University at Galveston, Texas, for maritime systems engineering. He is employed by Dynacon in Bryan, Texas.
