Bruce and Barbara Shostak of Le Mars and Maria and Jerzy Abram of Gdansk, Poland, parents of Teresa and Aleksander, announce the engagement and approaching marraige of their children.

The couple will be married in a 3 p.m. ceremony Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at St. John's Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A., in Le Mars. The reception will follow at Century Hall on the Plymouth County Fairgrounds in Le Mars.

Teresa will graduate from the University of Iowa in Cedar Falls with a double major in elementary education and special education.

Alexsander is a graduate of UNI with majors in political science/finance, and is presently attending Ohio State University in Columbus, where he is attending graduate school for agricultural economics.
