The engagement and approaching marriage of Lisa M. Langel and Aaron J. Nielsen is made known by their parents, Derek and Julie Langel of Le Mars, Laura Nielsen-Aronson of Bloomfield, and Jay Nielsen of Omaha, Neb.

The couple is planning a 6:30 p.m. ceremony on July 8, 2005, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars. The reception will follow at 8 p.m. at the Marina Inn in South Sioux City, Neb.

Lisa is a 2001 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and is attending St. Ambrose University in Davenport, majoring in elementary education.

Aaron is a 2000 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and is attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport.
