Freberg - Krause

Jodi Marie Freberg and Zachary Dean Krause were united in marriage in a 7 p.m. ceremony on April 8, 2005, at First Baptist Church in Le Mars. The Rev. Dan Krause, father of the bridegroom, officiated the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are David and Maria Freberg of Kannapolis, N.C., and Dan and Julia Krause of Le Mars.

Providing nuptial music was Michael Malone on the organ and vocalists Emily Krause and Brandon Shostak.

The bride wore an off-the-shoulder gown with an overlay dress, pulled up at the bottom with flowers. Her full-length back veil of tulle featured pearl-edged ribbon. She carried a bouquet of burgundy cala lillies, daisies and roses, light blue roses and white daisies.

Crystal Tesch of Avon, Minn., was maid of honor, with Ashley Cole of Sioux Falls, S.D., as bridesmaid. They wore light blue spaghetti-strapped tea length dresses, and carried burgundy cala lillies, daises and roses.

Flowergirl was Harlie Bates.

Jack Holck of Le Mars served as best man, with Levi Cargin of Le Mars as groomsman. Joe Bates was ringbearer.

The wedding reception for 200 guests was at 8 p.m. at the Le Mars Eagles Club.

The bride is a graduate of Benson High School in Benson, Minn., and is a junior at North Central University. She is employed with the Minnesota Army National Guard and NCU Security.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Le Mars Community High School and is a sophomore at NCU. He is employed with NCU Security and NU deli.
