Vedean J. (Blanchard) Colt, 72, of Akron, died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at Akron Care Center in Akron following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Akron with Msgr. Richrd Zenk officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today (Thursday) with the family present at 6 p.m., a Scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. followed by a parish rosary, all at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Carlsen Funeral Home-Schroeder Chapel in Akron.
