Julia L. (Welch) Taylor, 89, of Akron, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Akron Care Center in Akron.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Akron with the Rev. Craig Collison of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sioux City, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Akron. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today (Friday) with the family present from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Carlsen Funeral Home-Schroeder Chapel in Akron. There will be a Scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. followed by a parish rosary, all at the funeral home.
