Ken and Theresa Kirchner of Le Mars and Allen and Dolly Jiskoot of Newkirk announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Kayla Marie Kirchner and Jason Brent Jiskoot.

A May 28, 2005 wedding is planned at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars The reception will be held at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Both are graduate students at the University of Northern Iowa. Kayla is pursuing a masters degree in speech-language pathology. Jason is pursuing a masters degree in accounting.
